Reggie & Rainbow
Reggie & Rainbow began as a simple idea that slowly grew into one of my favorite creative projects. From the first script draft to a successful crowdfunding campaign and production, this project challenged me to wear nearly every hat while staying focused on the heart of the story.
Script
Building the story.
Growing up with a fraternal twin sister, one of the questions I was asked more than any other was whether we had some kind of "twin power." It stuck with me. Years later, I started wondering: what if fraternal twins really did share a secret ability, but had spent their entire lives making sure no one ever found out? That simple idea became the seed for Reggie & Rainbow.
From there, I became less interested in the power itself and more interested in the people. I love stories that invite audiences into worlds that feel lived in, specific, and just a little off-center. Places with their own rules, rhythms, and quirks. The twins' strange little universe became an opportunity to build characters who quietly navigate life with an extraordinary secret, while using it in ways that feel surprisingly ridiculous.
At the same time, I wanted Reggie & Rainbow to help define my own voice as a filmmaker. I'm drawn to directors with unmistakable points of view, and this project became my chance to begin developing an aesthetic that felt distinctly my own. One rooted in sincerity, specificity, humor, and carefully crafted worlds that audiences would enjoy spending time in.
Visual Development
The ideas, images, and influences that shaped the film.
Collecting references helps me understand a world's rules long before I begin building it.
I wanted Reggie & Rainbow to feel like a world with its own visual language and rhythm. These references helped shape everything from the tone and production design to the characters and overall aesthetic.
Seed&Spark
Turning an idea into a funded production.
With a script in hand and a clear vision, the next step was convincing other people to believe in it.
Our Seed&Spark crowdfunding campaign taught me that pitching a film is really about inviting people to believe in it alongside you. It gave us the opportunity to build an audience, rally a community, and raise the funds needed to bring the film to life.

Production
Behind the scenes on set.
Production is where every decision gets tested against reality, and where collaboration inevitably makes the work better. After months of planning, the project finally came to life on set. This is the time where preparation meets collaboration, and seeing the cast, crew, and creative vision come together remains one of the most rewarding parts of the filmmaking process for me.

Premiere, Festivals + Awards
Finding an audience.
Every film teaches you something. Usually it’s just how much you still have to learn, but by the time production wraps and post-production comes to an end, you've poured so much of yourself into the work that releasing it into the world feels equal parts terrifying and exhilarating. It's the moment the film stops being yours alone and begins a new life through the people who experience it. The premiere, festival run, and recognition Reggie & Rainbow received were meaningful not just because of the accolades, but because they reminded me that stories truly come alive when they're shared.
